Monica grew up in Mauritius (a small island east of Madagascar) - the origin of the extinct Dodo bird.
As an immigrant who moved to Canada at age 9, she experienced the challenges of adapting to a new culture and language, and has been on a journey of personal mastery for over 40 years. Earlier in her career, she was driven to succeed and was offered a partnership in a successful boutique firm. As a Certified Executive Coach and a PQ Coach (Positive Intelligence), Monica coaches mid-level to executive level leaders. She has studied Conflict Resolution, Mindfulness, Resilience Management, HeartMath, NVC/Compassionate Communication and Cognitive Behavior.
She has a unique perspective given her 25 years of experience in organizational development, leadership development, and organizational change management in healthcare, professional services, government and technology, as both an internal and external consultant.
She lives in beautiful British Columbia and can often be found somewhere in the forest hiking (sometimes lost!) She has two teenagers who are leaders in their own right, making a difference in the world.
